I’m so excited to have Amber Romaniuk on the show today. She is an emotional eating, digestive, and hormone expert who helps professional women achieve optimal health through mindful eating, self-care, and overcoming self-sabotage. We’re going to talk about what emotional eating is and why it affects so many women, as well as how self-sabotage affects you. I’m really excited to dig into this because many of us are women who have a lot of pressure on our shoulders, whether we are women in business or women trying to start a business.

Amber struggled with body image starting from the young age of 5. Amber dieted in her teens, and her binge eating and food addiction got really serious when she was 21. The money she was spending on binging and the quick fixes made a significant impact on her finances as well as her emotional and physical health. She became concerned she wouldn’t make it to 30 if she kept up with things the way they were. She began to read more about food and how it impacted her health. Amber soon realized that she had to break free of her addiction to the scale and diets so that she could learn how to deal with her emotions, love herself, and understand what was triggering her.
